For Art’s Sake

Creativity Belongs to Everyone

For Art’s Sake offers online and in-person arts-based courses and workshops designed to support emotional well-being, self-awareness, and connection. My offerings are for everyonenot just artists or “creative types”—and require no prior experience or talent. Grounded in psychological and somatic principles, my approach uses creativity as a practical tool for self-regulation and growth. Through simple, accessible creative practices, participants experience benefits including improved emotional regulation, reduced stress, and greater vitality. This is creativity as a resource for living well—doing art for the sake of it, where the process is its own reward.

Hi! My name is Jen.

I’m an expressive arts therapy educator, facilitator, writer, and artist—and a recovering creative who once set creativity aside and found my way back. Rediscovering creative practice has been deeply supportive of my own health and well-being, and I love teaching others how to reconnect with creativity in ways that feel accessible and nourishing. At For Art’s Sake, I offer arts-based courses and workshops focused on process over product, not performance or perfection, supporting self-expression, connection, and creativity for its own sake.

  • "The Artist's Way was such an amazing course. I felt like writing and sharing those thoughts was better than therapy! Every time I left those sessions I was so happy and full of energy. It really made me consider writing as a possible career path."

    —Emma R., Spain

  • “I thoroughly enjoyed Jen’s Artist’s Way course. She is really engaging, fun, articulate, and nurturing. Having supportive and friendly classmates was great too. The course really helped me become inspired and helped me open up new doors creatively.”

    —Chantal T., Australia

  • “Doing this work in a facilitated group is just so wonderful. I find that it opens my understanding so much more than doing it alone or with just a leader but no group interaction. I found Jen to be incredibly good at reflective listening and offering participants many opportunities to find an easy on-ramp to reflection and creative expression during the class."
